I think it’s safe to say anyone who knows me is aware of my paranoid fear of bugs. However, I think these paintings of  “morphologically disturbed” beetles by Cornelia-Hesse Honegger are actually quite beautiful because of her attention to detail.  If insects looked like this, I wouldn’t mind the occasional one crawling on my kitchen wall.
